Dr. Micki Archuleta is the Managing Partner and primary researcher at Dolphin Voyager, LLC. She is dedicated to transforming educational experiences through game-driven learning. Her work focuses on developing interactive learning tools that address complex social issues, such as housing insecurity and mental health, fostering critical thinking and ethical reasoning among students.


๐Ÿ•น๏ธ Featured Project: Rebuilding Lives โ€“ Finding a Place in the Sun

An educational video game prototype designed to enhance students’ persuasive writing and advocacy skills. The game encourages players to explore the complexities of housing insecurity and mental health support systems, promoting cognitive and affective role-taking.

Our comprehensive training equips educators with the tools and strategies to implement game-based learning in their classrooms. Participants will learn to integrate interactive scenarios, facilitate discussions on ethical decision-making, and utilize multimedia resources to enrich their teaching practices.โ€‹


๐Ÿ““ Student Journal Framework

Utilizing Microsoft OneNote Class Notebook or Canvas, this framework encourages reflective learning through multimedia prompts and peer feedback. Students engage in weekly tasks that include embedding videos or articles, responding to journal prompts on advocacy and empathy, and participating in peer-reviewed reflections.โ€‹
