🧭 Introduction

I developed this self-paced professional learning opportunity to meet the needs of nonprofit educators and instructors without access to a learning management system (LMS). The goal was to design a four-week training experience integrating Microsoft educational tools to teach social issues like houselessness, mental health, and advocacy in a digital-first environment.

This journey enhances my professional goals by providing a replicable, scalable model for training instructors across community settings, education nonprofits, and alternative learning environments.

Microsoft Certified Educator (MCE) – 62-193

Credential Description:
This certificate recognizes successful completion of the Microsoft Certified Educator (MCE) exam, designed for instructors demonstrating global educator technology literacy competencies. The credential validates an educator’s ability to integrate 21st Century teaching skills—including collaboration, knowledge construction, use of ICT for learning, self-regulation, real-world problem-solving, and skilled communication—into lesson design.

Participants must pass the MCE 62-193 exam, which assesses their proficiency in planning and delivering digitally enhanced lessons using Microsoft tools that support student-centered learning in diverse environments.
